7 YEARS WITH VENERABLE MATT

Today is a special day for me!

7 years ago in the bookshop in Niepokalanów I have received the August issue of the monthly "Word among us". There was an article devoted to the Venerable Matt Talbot and so my adventure began. These seven years have passed like one day.

I am asking for prayer for strength and resources for the next years of work for spreading information about Venerable Matt Talbot.

Today we are celebrating the 114th anniversary of the birth of Saint Faustina Kowalska.
Last month my materials with Venerable Matt Talbot reached her tomb at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Kraków - Łagiewniki (Poland).

The window is in the Saint Thomas Moore Chapel.

Materials in Lądek Zdrój

On Saturday my materials with Venerable Matt Talbot thanks to the help of Włodzimierz Bulik reached the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Healing the Sick in Lądek Zdrój (Poland).

Materials reached Mount Cierniak

Last Thursday Włodzimierz Bulik reached Mount Cierniak (Poland). He gave my materials about Venerable Matt Talbot to his guardian who is a hermit (in the photo on the left).

I think that it's the first time in history when materials about Venerable Matt reach the hermit.

Mass at 11.30 am was celebrated at the field altar by Bishop Tadeusz Bronakowski, auxiliary Bishop of Łomza, Chairman of the Polish Episcopal Conference Team for the Apostolate of Sobriety and Addicts.

Some time ago I prepared and distributed posters with the image of the Servant of God Mateusz Talbot. Quite by accident I saw that one of them hit the stage of the VIII Podlasie Feast of Sobriety, which was held in Wasilków on August 4-5 (Poland).
It is a great joy for me that materials with Mateusz Talbot reach many places.

Blessed Missionary Martyrs

Today (August 9) is the 28th anniversary of the death of Blessed Missionary Martyrs from Poland, Franciscans: Zbigniew Strzałkowski and Michał Tomaszek.

Blessed Father Zbigniew Strzałkowski and Father Michał Tomaszek were killed for their faith on August 9, 1991 in Pariacoto (Peru) at the hands of terrorists from a communist group called Sendero Luminoso (Shining Trail).
Let us pray for their intercession in defense of terrorism.
